Like apple trees, most good things in life take time to bloom. Safe to say that we've spent the last few weeks working tirelessly to ensure you get a taste of what we've been preparing for you.
Speaking of apples...
Apple trees that grow from seed typically take about 7-10 years to start bearing fruit. Weird, right? Why wait so long for a fruit that ceases to exist just after 5 minutes of snacking on it?
The thing is, these trees take time to mature and start producing fruit. They require several years of growth to establish their strong root system and develop the necessary branches and blossoms, hence the intriguing taste.🌚
But why wait that long for good things to happen when you can just speed things up with a wave of ECX's magical wand?
Dear ECXer, when forging a career path, it's important to have the technical skills needed to do the job. But to grow? It takes way more than that. And that's the purpose of our Soft Skills Training.
ICYMI (In Case You Missed It), our Soft Skills Training officially started on the 26th of April. We've had two professionals thriving in their respective fields come speak to us on some of these soft skills, and how they are instrumental to one's growth as a professional. They are the catalysts that drive growth, create an enabling environment for good relationships in the workplace, and ensure you climb up the corporate ladder.

MTN recently rebranded its fibre service to FibreX. In English, that means fibre broadband users get improved user experience, making the service more modern, customer-friendly, and relatable. This might sound like big news just for heavy internet users, but there’s a nice ripple effect for regular data users too.
As more people shift to fibre for streaming and downloads, mobile networks could get less crowded, meaning better speeds for everyone else. It might also push MTN to tweak mobile data plans, making them more affordable or flexible. And with FibreX expanding into new areas, more folks might finally get faster, more reliable internet—giving mobile users more options, not just more bills.

Technology, although super beneficial, can also be a bit overwhelming at times. With never-ending work messages, emails, and notification bells that never seem to stop ringing, it's very easy for one to fall into the trap of unproductivity and burnout, as opposed to the original purpose of technology.
In order to truly “Hack The Tech Life”, it's important for one to sometimes step back, take a break, and reset. Step away from your screen, turn off those notifications, and simply exist. You'd be surprised to find out that after this reset, you'll be back to being more productive than ever with technology still at your side.
