Are Habits Hard to Shake Off? 🤔
Sending warm wishes to all those who celebrated Eid—may this season favor us all! So I was chatting with my Muslim friend the other day, and she said she was finding it hard to return to her pre-fasting diet routine, and eating during the day feels a bit weird. I sort of resonated with her because sometimes breaking free from the routine can feel like a hurdle. Deja vu for you, right? But fear not. Finding balance is all part of the journey! 🌟

I was scrolling through Mark Manson's “The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck” I’m sure the book lovers among us will have come across this book—if you’ve not, click the link to get a free pdf copy. Scratch that; there’s a great quote from the book,
“Prioritize your energy and effort. In other words, consider the f*cks you have to give and know they are finite. You can't, and shouldn't, care about everything. Instead, prioritize what matters in your life and know that to make space for certain things, you have to let other things go.”
In my mind, this is the semester I ignored the noise around me and focused on what genuinely mattered. We all have noises that are bottlenecks to our growth (e.g., unnecessary arguments, feeling among, extravagant spending, gambling, nightlife, etc.). So, recognize the noise around you and focus on what truly matters.
